An amazing animal that has survived only in Russia.

The Russian desman is unlike any other mammal. It’s as blind as a mole, but lives in water and has webbed feet like a platypus. It has an unusual trunk-like nose, which replaces its sight and helps it feel its way to its burrow. At the same time, the desman's tail resembles that of a rat. This animal is already approximately 30 million years old and survives only in Russia.
