The closest relative of the common fox. Although the Arctic fox is an excellent hunter in its own right, it likes to stay close to humans – after all, they might have something edible!
As a rule, the Arctic fox is white in winter and brown in summer, but, in Russia's Far East, there are blue Arctic foxes that don't change their coat with the seasons.
