Meet Anastasia Venza, the new ‘Miss Russia’ 2025 (PHOTOS)
The country's new top beauty is studying at the Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, combining her medical training to become a doctor with her work in the fashion industry.
Anastasia admits that she has to find a balance in everything. After all, logic and consistency are essential in medicine, while the world of fashion demands creativity and inspiration.
In the future, she wants to pursue aesthetic medicine – restoring patients' health and revealing their beauty.
Anastasia made her debut on the catwalk at the age of 13. A year later, at one of these fashion shows, she was spotted by famous Russian designer Slava Zaitsev, the ‘Red Dior’, who invited her to join his modeling agency.
She also conquered international catwalks, working in shows in Japan and modeling for ‘Shiseido’, ‘Uniqlo’ and ‘H&M’.
Nastya has also played volleyball for many years – this sport helped her develop team spirit, perseverance and self-confidence. She still remembers her first competitions: they allowed her to experience the thrill of competition and team support.
The competition winner cites horseback riding as another source of inspiration and harmony with nature.
She loves to travel: Her social media pages feature stunning photos against the backdrop of the seascapes of Turkey and the Maldives. She also travels around Russia – recently, for example, she was in Plyos, which she really liked (“It's a place where a phone is unnecessary!”). She now dreams of visiting Lake Baikal.
She prefers romantic movies, especially ‘One Day’ (2011) with Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess. Her favorite books, meanwhile, are the philosophical and lyrical stories by Elchin Safarli.
Anastasia shares the secret to her success: “You have to love yourself and then you can outshine everyone else!”
‘Miss Russia’ 2024 Valentina Alekseeva presented Anastasia with a white gold crown adorned with pearls, diamonds, rubies and sapphires. The winner also received a cash prize of one million rubles, which she plans to donate to her charity foundation that helps newborns with developmental disabilities.
In a month, Anastasia will represent Russia at the ‘Miss Universe’ pageant, which will be held in Thailand.
