Chef without borders: how a syrian found a home in Sochi (VIDEO)

Msalam Karzakan is a chef from Syria for whom cooking has become not just a profession, but a true passion. He has traveled halfway around the world, collecting traditional recipes, flavors, and secrets of global cuisine.

Msalam's heart opened up to Russia when he was invited to work at one of Sochi's trendy restaurants. Although his initial expectations did not match Russian reality, Msalam learned Russian, got to know the culture, and decided to stay there forever. Msalam is already giving back to Russia. He started a strong family and opened his own meat-lovers restaurant, which quickly became a favorite spot for local foodies!
