Ф – Фыдджын

A ‘fydjin’ is a closed Ossetian pie with minced beef and broth. The dough for such a pie is usually unleavened, made from regular wheat flour.

Traditionally, this pie was baked on holidays, as it is a hearty and very tasty dish. Today, you can try it not only in North Ossetia, but also in many large Russian cities.
