Terms of Use

These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) govern your use of materials located at gw2ru.com (Mass Media Registration Certificate EL No. FS 77 - 88711 of November 22, 2024), founded by ANO TV-Novosti (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”), and materials posted in the Gateway to Russia mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”). Hereinafter, the Website and the Application are collectively referred to as the “Services”.

By accessing the Website, browsing or using the Website and/or the Application, you accept the Terms in full, without any exceptions, and agree to be bound by the Terms. If you do not agree to the Terms, you must immediately stop using the Services and may not use materials posted on the Services. Using the Services on terms other than those contained in these Terms is possible only with the prior written consent of ANO TV-Novosti (hereinafter referred to as 'Gateway to Russia').

Gateway to Russia has the right to change the Terms unilaterally from time to time, without notification of these changes. Changes made to the Terms come into force from the moment they are published on the Website and/or in the Application. Please check the Terms regularly. If you do not agree to the amended Terms, you must stop using the Services immediately. Your continued use of the Website and/or Application after the date the Terms were amended will constitute your acceptance of the amended Terms.

Use of materials

Materials posted on the Services can be used only as prescribed by the Terms. Of the materials posted on the Services, you have the right to use only materials in the format of literary works in the form of articles, texts, stories (hereinafter referred to as the “Authorized Materials”). Authorized Materials do not include and cannot be used: photographic works and works created by means similar to photography, audiovisual works, painting, graphics, design works, other art works, links, hyperlinks, GIFs, applications, games, advertising content, etc., except as expressly permitted by Gateway to Russia.

In these Terms, the use of Authorized Materials means their use solely for non-commercial purposes in the following ways: making Authorized Materials available to the public, translating Authorized Materials into any language of the world. You can use Authorized Materials, free of charge, in the ways specified in these Terms throughout the world only if the following conditions are met:

- when making Authorized Materials publicly available, you must provide a visible hyperlink to the Authorized Material and indicate the source of the Authorized Material as follows: "Article from the 'Gateway to Russia' project's website";

- when using a translation of Authorized Materials, you must indicate that the source of the translation is material owned by ANO TV-Novosti and attach a hyperlink to the original Authorized Material on the Services. In addition, when using a translation of Authorized Materials, you must indicate that it was not translated by ANO TV-Novosti.

ANO ‘TV-Novosti’ is not responsible for the accuracy, topicality, completeness and compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation of any materials and/or information that is accessed by clicking on active links/hyperlinks posted on the Services, which lead to third-party Websites / resources, in particular, the Internet resources of the All-Russian State Library of Foreign Literature named after M. I. Rudomino (https://catalog.libfl.ru). For all questions and complaints related to the materials and/or information of third parties specified in this paragraph, please contact the appropriate owner/administrator of said website/resource.

Use of Authorized Materials under the Terms is permitted provided that the rights of the authors of the relevant Authorized Materials are observed.

Any use of Authorized Materials posted on the Services in violation of the procedure and methods specified in the Terms is prohibited.

Relations regarding the use of Authorized Materials are governed by the law of the Russian Federation. All disputes and disagreements arising in connection with the use of the Authorized Materials are subject to resolution in the Arbitration Court of the city of Moscow or in the District Court of the city of Moscow at the location of ANO ‘TV-Novosti’ in accordance with the procedure provided for by the substantive and procedural legislation of the Russian Federation.
