1. МОНУМЕНТ ‘ТЫЛ-ФРОНТУ’ (The ‘Rear-Front’ Monument)

Erected in 1979, this monument commemorates the heroic deeds of Soviet home front workers during World War II. It’s part of a monumental triptych that also includes ‘The Motherland Calls!’ in Volgograd and ‘Warrior Liberator’ in Berlin. They are united by the image of a sword that was forged in the Urals, raised in Stalingrad and lowered after Victory Day in the German capital.

2. ХОККЕЙНЫЙ КЛУБ ‘МЕТАЛЛУРГ’ (‘Metallurg Magnitogorsk’ Hockey Club)

This is one of the most successful ice hockey clubs in Russia, a six-time national champion and a three-time winner of the Gagarin Cup. Metallurg Magnitogorsk is also well known on the international stage. It has won the Euroleague several times, the European Champions Cup and the European Super Cup.

3. МАГНИТОГОРСКИЕ КУРАНТЫ (Magnitogorsk Chimes)

The city's main clock, located on a 29-meter tower, was installed in 1979 in honor of the city's 50th anniversary. The original plan was to place four sculptures symbolizing the seasons at the base of the tower, but this idea was ultimately abandoned. Lovers arrange to meet near them and various city festivals are regularly held nearby.
