Tufted ears, powerful snowshoe-like paws and a short tail – this is what one of the most common large cats in Russia looks like. The lynx lives in forests from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka, preferring remote, dark, coniferous areas.
Like other felines, the lynx loves to ambush its prey.
