Most profession names are the same for both for masculine and feminine, like the professions on the list in Part 1. But, there are some professions that have a masculine or feminine version. For example, ‘athlete’ – ‘спортсмен’ (m), ‘спортсменка’ (f). The ‘-ка’ ending is frequently used to form the feminine version, but there are other ways to achieve this as well. Below is a list of some commonly used professions.
