LESSON 2: IT IS COLD IN MOSCOW

1. А: Какая погода сегодня?
В: Сегодня прохладно и дождь.
A: What’s the weather today?
B: Today, it’s chilly and rainy.
2. А: Какая погода в Москве?
В: В Москве холодно и идёт снег.
А: What’s the weather in Moscow?
В: It is cold and snowing.
3. В понедельник тепло, +20°C.
It is warm and +20°C on Monday.
4. Вчера в Риме было жарко, +30°C.
It was hot and +30°C in Rome yesterday.
6. В пятницу в Санкт-Петербурге было -15°C.
It was -15°C in St. Petersburg on Friday.
NOTE!
To say ‘it’s raining’ or ‘it’s snowing’ use the verb ‘идти’ (‘to go’) like in example 2.
