When you want to say something hurts, use the construction “у меня болит/болят + body part”

1. У меня болит голова.
My head hurts. (I have a headache)

2. У меня болят ноги.
My legs/feet hurt.

‘Болит/болят’ are the singular/plural forms of the verb ‘болеть’ (to hurt).

You can use this structure with nouns and other pronouns when talking about someone’s pain:

1. У брата болит зуб.
My brother’s tooth hurts. (My brother has a toothache.)

2. У бабушки болят руки и ноги. 
Grandma's arms/hands and legs/feet hurt. 

3. У тебя болит спина? 
Does your back hurt?

4. Что у вас болит?
What hurts? (Where do you feel pain?)
