LESSON 7: ADJECTIVES IN GENITIVE CASE

The table below shows the endings of adjectives in the Genitive case.

Gender	Nominative → Genitive	Examples
Masculine -ого/-его	ый, ой → ого ий → его	новый → нового большой → большого хороший → хорошего синий → синего
Neuter -ого/-его	ое → ого ее → его	новое → нового большое → большого хорошее → хорошего синее → синего
Feminine -ой/-ей	ая → ой after ч, ж, ш, щ, ц if the ending is not stressed ая → ей яя → ей	новая → новой больша́я → большо́й хоро́шая → хоро́шей горя́чая → горя́чей синяя → синей
Plural -ых/-их	ые → ых ие → их	новые → новых хорошие → хороших синие → синих
