Inspired by Russia

Inspired by Russia: This series of articles examines the rich history of world-renowned authors who have been influenced by time spent in Russia. Each article discusses a well-known author who wrote about their own trip to Russia, describing their discoveries and perception of Russian literature and culture. Many of these authors maintained friendships with Russian authors, and promoted cultural exchange by translating or being translated by Russian writers.
