Foreign medical specialists are invited to join a FREE fellowship in Russia
The fellowship is designed to introduce international specialists to modern Russian approaches to diagnostics, treatment and the organization of medical care, as well as to high-tech solutions used in leading clinics and research centers in Russia.
The internship includes several specialized tracks:
- Integrative and Complementary Medicine
- Neurology
- Oncology
- Dermatology
- Premalignant Diseases and Oral Cancer Screening & Diagnosis
In addition to the specialized tracks, participants will get acquainted with the infrastructure of Sechenov University, university clinics, research laboratories, as well as the organization of scientific and medical work in Russia.
You are eligible to participate if you:
- have a medical education
- are between 21 and 40 years old
- do not hold Russian citizenship and reside outside the Russian Federation and, at the time of application, do not have a contract with Russian organizations
- have an English proficiency of at least B2 level

The ‘InteRussia’ fellowship program in Medicine is implemented by the ‘Mezhdunarodniki’ Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation in cooperation with the Gorchakov Fund and Sechenov University. The program is implemented as part of Rossotrudnichestvo’s flagship New Generation initiative with grant support from the Presidential Grants Foundation.
The Gorchakov Fund is a non-profit organization that promotes the development of ties between Russian and foreign civil societies. Over 15 years, more than 90,000 people from over 150 countries have taken part in the fund's programs and projects, while more than 500 international initiatives have received some form of grant support.
