Love for ballet led a Japanese girl to Russia (VIDEO)
Marina says that it was the Russian ballet that became her ideal of what real art is. This prompted her to decide to move to a new country.
Marina’s first impression of Russia was a big one — the breadth of the Russian soul, what the Slavs look and behave like and certainly the famous long dark winters of Moscow. Today, after 15 years of living in Russia, she calls herself a 'Russian Japanese woman'.
How does it feel to be Japanese in the Russian world? What shocked Marina about the upbringing of Russian children? Why does she already have a Russia-sounding name? Does she eat 'Russian sushi'? And what exactly attracts her to the Russian mentality and Russian men? The answers to these and other questions is all in our next interview!
