From Hollywood to Ivanovo: how Russia became a home for an American actor (VIDEO)

Hollywood actor Randy King, known for his roles in Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy, traded the US film industry for a new life in Ivanovo. Now a local mentor and stage performer, he has found true inspiration and happiness in Russia, proving that artistic fulfillment knows no borders.

Pantomime master and actor Randy King was born and raised in the USA. Randy had a bright and eventful career going in Hollywood: he starred in famous projects including “Spider-Man: Homecoming", "Ozark" and "Guardians of the Galaxy". His acting talent has been recognized more than once by both big time directors and the movie-going audience.

However, many years ago Randy found a place for himself in Ivanovo, a city that became like a new homeland for him. Randy not only changed his geography, but also discovered a new stage for himself to perform on. Here he continued to develop his acting skills by participating in local theater productions, sharing his experience with young artists and inspiring them with his professionalism and dedication to art.

Although Randy is technically a “retiree”, his creative energy is still in full swing. He regularly conducts master classes in pantomime and acting, passing on unique techniques honed over the years in cinema and theater. Randy speaks warmly about his new homeland, believing that it was here that he found not only a great place to live, but also meaning, inspiration and true happiness.
