Martin John Cookе is a British theatre director, actor and playwright, who back in the mid-2000s made the fateful decision to move from his native Yorkshire, England to Russia and start a new creative life there.
Since then, Martin has been living and working in Moscow. He has become a significant figure in the local theatrical environment, starring in popular Russian films and TV series. He also runs his own Flying Banana kids theater, and also raises children in Russia with his local wife.
Martin admits that he feels at home in Russia and sees no point in returning to England. He has decided to stay forever.
