A walk to the Altai high-altitude glaciers (VIDEO)

One of the most photographed mountains in the Republic of Altai is called Karatash. It stands at 3,534 meters, and its name translates from the Altai language as 'black stone'. The mountain is located at the end of a long valley through which the Aktru River flows.
