The book festival is back on Red Square! (PHOTOS)
From June 4 to 7, 2026, the entire space from St. Basil’s Cathedral to the State Historical Museum in Moscow is being filled with books and packed with book worms!
The ‘Red Square’ Book Festival is taking place for the 12th time! The program of this grand literary celebration features over 800 events (!), including:
- Performances by the country’s leading theaters
- Literary and musical productions
- Discussions
- Presentations of new books
- Book signings with authors
- And even a world championship of reading aloud!
More than 400 publishers from all over Russia will be showcasing their books at the exhibition stands!
The festival will bring together writers, poets, publishers, actors, directors, musicians and, of course, tens of thousands of readers.
