Did you know that even animals speak differently in Russia?
- Dogs don’t go ‘woof’ – they say гав гав in Russian
- Cats don’t ‘Meow!’ - they say мяу мяу and they answer to “кис кис” (which doesn’t mean kisses btw)
- Pigs go хрю-хрю which is why a piggy would be a хрюшка
- Geese go га-га and not honk, which is just silly.
- Frogs don’t go ‘Ribbit’ – they say ква-ква
- Ducks don’t quack they go Кря which sounds like a move in taekwondo.
- Donkey don’t say hee-haw but Иa…
- Roosters go ‘Cock-a-doodle-doo!’ No! It’s кукареку!
- Crow says not ‘caw’, but кар!
