Everyone knows about Arabic and Roman numerals, but there were also Slavic ones!

Today, Russians write using the Cyrillic alphabet, but they use Arabic or Roman numerals. However, before the reform of Peter the Great at the beginning of the 18th century, the letters of the Old Russian alphabet were also used to denote numerals (the system was called ‘tsifir’, ‘цифирь’). Today, you can see Cyrillic numerals on the clock in the Suzdal Kremlin.
