You need to remember only one phrase to learn every Russian letter!

Alexander Kislov, Natalya Nosova

Such sentences are called pangrams.

The phrase "Съешь же ещё этих мягких французских булок, да выпей чаю" ("Eat some more of these soft French buns, and drink some tea") will help you learn all the letters of the Russian alphabet. This is a pangram – a short text that uses every letter.

Russian also has another well-known pangram: "В чащах юга жил-был цитрус, да он фальшивый экземпляр" ("In the southern thickets, there once lived a citrus, but it was a fake specimen"). However, this one is missing the letters "ё" and "ъ".
