Mateo Miguel from the Dominican Republic began learning Russian at the RUDN University's preparatory faculty and then entered the university's Engineering Academy to study energy engineering.
He was offered to study in Russia during the pandemic and, despite the fact that it was a completely unfamiliar country to him, he decided to go and get an education there. Now, his friends tell him, "Amigo, you're already like a Russian yourself!"
