Russian verbs ‘есть’ (‘to eat’) and ‘пить’ (‘to drink’) have an irregular conjugation in the present tense. Listen to the audio & repeat.

1. Утром я ем сэндвич и пью кофе.
In the morning, I eat a sandwich and drink coffee.

2. Она не ест мясо и не пьёт алкоголь.
She doesn’t eat meat and doesn’t drink alcohol.

3. На завтрак мы едим яйца и овощи. 
For breakfast, we eat eggs and vegetables.

4. Что вы едите на обед?
What do you eat for lunch?

5. На ужин я ничего не ем.
I don’t eat anything for dinner.

The verbs ‘есть’ and ‘пить’ are followed by noun in the Accusative case (we will review the Accusative case in Lesson 5)
