1. Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL)
This is Russia's leading specialized law university, with students from as many as 40 countries and agreements with over 100 foreign universities. In total, more than 50 study programs are available, along with unique centers specializing in biolaw, cyberlaw, geolaw, business law and technolaw.
Programs are available in English and there are also joint Russian-Chinese programs.

2. Faculty of Law, Lomonosov Moscow State University
This is one of the three oldest law faculties in Russia. It ranks first in the number of law firm partners among its graduates and first in the number of graduates hired by law firms.
In addition to 16 core departments and specializations, students can explore numerous related courses, including a political science laboratory, a laboratory for socio-legal research and comparative law, as well as a laboratory for legal informatics and cybernetics.

3. Law Institute, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN)
RUDN holds the record for the highest number of international students in Moscow, so you'll study in a highly welcoming environment with the option of living on its large campus. 4. Faculty of Law, Higher School of Economics (HSE)
The Higher School of Economics offers several law programs at the undergraduate level (in Moscow and its Perm branch), including a new and promising specialization – ‘Digital Lawyer’.
Education at HSE is oriented not only toward fundamental knowledge, but also practical skills. Importantly, students participate in project and research work in the fields of not only Russian law, but also foreign and international law.
Courses are conducted in Russian and partially in English.

5. Faculty of Law, St. Petersburg State University (SPbSU)
This is another of Russia's oldest law schools, training lawyers who are competitive on the global market. SPbSU is renowned for its strong academic foundation, combined with the use of modern technologies and attention to the latest trends. Among its faculty are even judges of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. Incidentally, this is the faculty that Vladimir Putin graduated from.
The four-year program is available in Russian and partially in English and there is also a separate program with in-depth study of Chinese language and law.

6. Faculty of Law, Kazan Federal University
Along with St. Petersburg and Moscow universities, this is one of the three oldest law faculties in Russia. Vladimir Lenin, the revolutionary leader and first head of the USSR, studied there.

7. Ural State Law University
This has been a training ground for legal professionals for over a century. The university is located in Yekaterinburg – a city of over one million people in the Urals. It offers both bachelor's and master's programs, as well as specialist degrees, along with many part-time and distance learning options.
The university also has seven specialized institutes covering different branches of legal science.
