How to become the BEST foreign student in Russia?
Then take part in the ‘СтудRussia’ (‘StudRussia’) contest, applications are accepted until September 20!
If you’re an international student at a Russian university aged between 18 and 35 years old, you can take part in this All-Russian competition for international students!
‘СтудRussia’ is a contest for those who have achieved success in science, sports, creativity or social activities, as well as for those who want to make themselves known and gain recognition.
Make sure you submit your application on the website studrussia.ru by September 20, 2026.
You need to fill out the form, attach a portfolio with your achievements and a motivational letter.
Then choose one of the categories in which you would like to participate in:
- ‘Future of Science’;
- ‘Leader of the Generation’;
- ‘Conquerors of Peaks’;
- ‘Good Without Borders’;
- ‘Inspired by Creativity’;
- ‘Russian Language and Culture’;
- ‘Voice of the Generation (Media)’.
After the selection stage, in-person trials will be held in the federal districts and then the final will take place in Moscow.

The competition is organized by MISIS University of Science and Technology with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
