Zephyr is a light dessert made from fruit puree, named after the ancient Greek god of wind. 

As a rule, zephyr is made out of sour apples, sugar and egg whites, adding vanilla and different berries for flavor. Sometimes, a zephyr can also be covered with chocolate.

The closest relative of this dessert is a pastila.
