10 Russian proverbs and sayings about the FALL
With the departure of summer, the harvest ended, and preparations for the long winter season began. This is what folk wisdom had to say about it.
1. «Цыплят по осени считают». (“Tsiplyat po oseni schitayut”)
“You can count your chickens in the fall.”
Don’t rush to conclusions until it’s clear how things will end.
