Some popular Russian names contain the letter ‘В’:

Vladimir Vysotsky was an actor, singer and song writer,
Vsevolod Meyerhold was a theater director and teacher,
Vladislav Strzhelchic and Vyacheslav Tikhonov were both Soviet actors,
latter famous for playing Soviet spy Stierlitz.
