Russia to host the ‘History of the Future – 2026’ international championship
Applications are now open for teams of Russian and international students! The winners will receive a cash prize.
The championship has been organized by the Russian Foundation for Culture for several years now. In 2025, 24 teams from seven countries took part. This year's theme will be ‘National Cultures in the Era of Digital Technologies, Artificial Intelligence and IT Solutions.’
Student teams will be tasked with developing their own original project and presenting it before a distinguished jury.
Applications can be submitted until October 2 at culturechamp.ru.
Teams of 4-5 full-time students aged 18 to 25, who are studying at Russian universities or abroad, but with proficiency in Russian, are invited to participate.
After a remote, online qualifying round, the in-person final will take place in November in one of Russia's cities (which one is a surprise still – it will be announced later).
