7 dishes with Dubai chocolate, but made in Russia! (PHOTOS)
1. ‘Kulich’ cakes
The main trend of this spring is ‘kulich’ filled with Dubai chocolate. It was created by Chelyabinsk confectioner Ekaterina Abramova and then the recipe began to spread across confectionery shops all over the country. People even make it at home!
2. Pancakes
In the ‘Teremok’ Russian cuisine fast food chain, you can order pancakes with ‘Dubai Chocolate’ filling. They are filled with chocolate, pistachio and sesame paste and Kadayif dough – the main ingredient of this dish, which gives it a crispy texture.
3. Pizza
Several pizzerias in Moscow have added pizza with chocolate, pistachio paste and kadayif dough to their menus. Some even decorate it with gold!
4. Cheesecake
Variations of cheesecake with the addition of kadayif dough with grated pistachio and chocolate can be found not only in Moscow cafes and restaurants, but also in the ‘Vkusvill’ grocery chain.
5. Coffee
And the ‘Dodo Pizza’ fast food chain has created an iced ‘Dubai Chocolate’ latte with chocolate syrup and pistachio sprinkles.
6. Croissant
Several pastry shops in Russia are now offering a croissant inspired by Dubai chocolate – with pistachios and kadayif dough. Some also add peanut paste, while others add fresh berries.
7. ‘Khinkali’ dumplings
Georgian cuisine is very popular in Russia and, in some restaurants, you can not only try ordinary ‘khinkali’, but also chocolate ‘khinkali’!
