The Moscow Metro’s most beautiful stations: ‘Arbatskaya’ (PHOTOS)

This is one of the longest (220 m) and deepest (41 m) stations in the capital's subway.

This station on the blue ‘Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya’ (Dark Blue) Line opened in 1953. The architect was Leonid Polyakov, who also designed one of the Stalinist skyscrapers.
