This two-story Art Nouveau building in Noginsk, Moscow Region, is over 100 years old. It was built in 1908-1910 for the primary school of the Bogorodsko-Glukhovskaya textile manufactory.

It belonged to Arseny Morozov, the great-grandson of Savva Morozov, entrepreneur and founder of the famous merchant dynasty.

Architect Alexander Markov designed a project using the most modern materials: the building had a modern ventilation and heating system, large windows, which provided natural light, and a staircase with original cast-iron railings that led to the second floor.

The school became a real temple of science: The facade was decorated with inserts of "watercolor" tiles, while the central vestibule walls were covered with ceramic panels on the theme of education and textiles.

The children of factory workers would study there.

Initially, only boys, but, in 1914, mixed education was introduced at the school.
