Young Lieutenant Sergey Ogarkov fails to accomplish a combat mission, causing an entire division to be encircled and killed. The young man is sentenced to death by firing squad. Suddenly, the village where Ogarkov is being held is captured by the Nazis. The condemned man and his guard manage to escape and, together, they begin to break through to their own lines…

The movie was released for the 70th anniversary of the victory in World War II and won the TEFI award for ‘Best Documentary’ in 2017.
