"I always have a dictionary with me," says Malian Ibrahim, a future mining engineer.
Ibrahim is a 2nd-year student at Moscow's Geological Prospecting University. His father also studied in Russia and instilled in the young man a love of Russian culture from childhood.
Ibrahim speaks Russian already quite well, although he has been learning the language for only three years: he even reached the semifinals of the 'Russian Language Championship for Foreigners'.
