Lilacs are blooming, verandas are opening and fountains are being turned on. Warm days have arrived in Moscow and the city has been transformed.
1. Dozens of lilac species that Russian breeders have bred are blooming right now in the Lilac Garden in eastern Moscow. The most famous variety is called ‘Krasavitsa Moskvy’ (‘The Beauty of Moscow’).
2. Ice cream kiosks have already popped up on the blooming boulevards in the city center.
3. Flowerbeds with trees and bushes were installed on Tverskoy Boulevard, which provide freshness in hot weather.
4. Patriarch's Ponds is one of the most popular restaurant areas in Moscow. Verandas have already opened there, on which you can have a coffee (or whatever goes!).

6. A whole garden with flowers and fountains has grown near the Bolshoi Theater.
7. The oldest fountain in Moscow, situated next to the Bolshoi Theater, was created by sculptor Giovanni Vitali in 1835.
8. The Zaryadye Park in the historical center of Moscow collects many kinds of plants - and they are blooming amazingly now.
9. There are also lots of fragrant lilacs blooming in the city center.
10. Flowers have even appeared on the Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge, which overlooks Zaryadye Park.
11. And there are many cozy squares in the center of Moscow, where residents and tourists enjoy spending warm evenings.
