Moscow from a BIRD’S EYE view

Photos by Sergey Poletaev have become a visual chronicle of modern Russian architecture: from historical monuments to modern projects, from glass and concrete to natural and grassy landscapes.
Sergey Poletaev is a famous architectural photographer, considered a guru of panoramic and high-altitude photography and a winner of many professional awards, whose works combine technical precision with artistic interpretation.
In his photographs, large-scale panoramas of the city alternate with close-ups of random architectural details – the ‘Sun of Moscow’ Ferris wheel cabin, the Ostankino TV tower or the skyscrapers of the Moscow City business district, shrouded in fog.
Take a closer look at some of the breathtaking views of the capital as taken by the photographer from high above the city!
