Ш – Шашлык

‘Shashlik’ is the most popular dish in the Caucasian cuisine. Pieces of meat (pork, lamb, chicken, beef) are pre-marinated and then grilled on skewers on a grill with an open flame. 

Of course, each culinary enthusiast has their own special marinade recipe: mineral water with onions, kefir, mayonnaise and even honey.
