Hunting as depicted by Russian painters (PHOTOS)

State Russian Museum
In the 19th century, hunting was one of the favorite hobbies of the nobility. They were proud of their hunting successes almost as much as their careers or the attention they received from ladies. Russian artists knew all this, and they happily transferred hunting scenes to their canvases.
