Who can travel to Russia visa-free in 2025?

Citizens of over 60 countries can enter Russia without a visa and stay for a specific period. However, it's important to remember that the visa-free travel is generally only for tourism, visiting relatives or friends, attending cultural and sporting events or for short business trips. For work, study and other long-term purposes, a visa will still be required.
If you plan to stay in Russia for longer than seven days, you must register at your place of stay (find out how here)
Also, before your trip, download the ‘ruID’ app. Find out how to here.
